Like it or not, you gotta get into SEO -- at least the basics; Keyword-rich domain name, Keyworded Title Tags, H1 Tags, Keyword-rich content on the page, anchor text... etc.

Get the BASICS before you go for
the EXOTIC stuff.  And, if you're brand spanking new, you're gonna have to crawl before you can walk.

Get familiar with backlinks... 'GP listing's...'page rank', etc.   There'll be offline marketing products, video's, WSO's, freebies galore, and again, YOUR input
to boot. 

So don't be shy, jump in!
